What voltage do central exhaust fans (ULV, USV and USVX) operate on?

When troubleshooting, servicing or connecting a central exhaust fan, it is important to know which voltage levels the fan operates at. Many people therefore ask which voltages apply to Flexit’s ULV, USV and USVX models.

Answer:

Central exhaust fans of type ULV, USV and USVX can operate at different voltage levels depending on the selected speed setting. The fans run at approximately 80 V at low speed, approximately 150 V at medium speed, and 230 V at maximum speed. This is controlled via the regulator and is normal operation for these models.
